In the middle of a cost-of-living crisis, Australians are making tough choices every day to tighten their purse.

But instead of focusing on easing that burden, Labor is pushing to expand the size of Parliament — bringing more politicians to Canberra at a cost of more than $600 million.

That’s hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars spent on more politicians, more bureaucracy, and more government — at exactly the wrong time.

Australians are not asking for a bigger Parliament. They’re asking for relief from rising costs, for responsible spending, and for a government that lives within its means — just like they have to.

The solution to Australia’s challenges isn’t more politicians in Canberra.

It’s better priorities.
