Representing our vibrant and dynamic community on the southern Gold Coast is the greatest honour of my life – and a responsibility I take with the utmost seriousness.
I’m driven by my belief in personal responsibility, aspiration, and service – values that ensure every Australian has the chance to build, contribute, and take pride in the great nation we call home.
I’ve always believed that leadership begins with listening. My role is to hear your ideas, provide support where I can, and be your voice in Canberra to shape the future of our region.
I’m here to listen to your ideas, provide assistance, and advocate on your behalf at the federal level for the future of our region.
My upbringing was a traditional middle-class Australian story – shaped by values of self-determination, hard work, and deep gratitude. As migrants, my parents instilled in me a deep respect for the institutions that make our country strong and an appreciation for every opportunity Australia provides.
My journey in politics began at ground level, as a parliamentary attendant, sorting Parliament House mail and watching debates from the back of the chamber. Those early years inspired my respect for our democracy and my desire to contribute to it.
Before entering Parliament, I worked as a solicitor with King & Wood Mallesons, specialising in foreign investment law and helping global businesses navigate complex regulatory frameworks.
It’s a testament to our nation’s character that someone who once sorted mail in the basement of Parliament House can go on to serve there as a Member of Parliament.
The Gold Coast story is the Australian story – people who’ve built something from nothing. I’m determined to honour that spirit every day, working with conviction, integrity, and purpose.
Our region is uniquely entrepreneurial – full of people willing to take risks, back their ideas, and build a better life.
My priorities are guided by the conversations I have with locals every day. I’m committed to:
- Tackling cost-of-living pressures facing families and young people.
- Supporting small businesses and tradies — the backbone of our economy.
- Protecting our Gold Coast lifestyle while planning for a strong future.
- Backing young Australians striving to get ahead.
- Restoring the common-sense role of government as an enabler not a provider.
I want our community to be a place where families thrive, businesses grow, and young people can build their futures right here on the Gold Coast. More broadly, I want to see an Australia that is confident, ambitious, and proud – a country that rewards effort, encourages enterprise, and protects freedom.
