The Australian flag is a symbol of our national identity, including the values that define and unite us.

It is the flag under which Australian Defence Force personnel serve our nation.

It is the flag new citizens proudly stand beneath when they choose Australia as their home.

Leading up to Australia Day I’m encouraging our community to champion our flag.
